Utagawa Kunisada (; also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III ; 1786 – 12 January 1865) was the most popular, prolific and financially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints in 19th-century Japan. In his own time, his reputation far exceeded that of his contemporaries, Hokusai, Hiroshige and Kuniyoshi.

Kunisada (crater)

Kunisada is a crater on Mercury. It has a diameter of 241 kilometers. Its name was adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 2009. Kunisada is named for the Japanese woodblock printer Utagawa Kunisada, who lived from 1786 to 1864.
