Kandhkot is a city and tehsil in Kashmor District in the Sindh province of Pakistan. The city is major hub for the grain and cattle industry. The Anaj mandi (Grain market) of Kandhkot is said to be the second largest grain market of Asia.
Kashmore lies to its east, Tangwani to its north, Shikarpur to the west, and the Indus River to the south, which links it with Ghotki District. Some social organizations based in Kandhkot are, such as, 'Education Development Organization', 'Human Resource Development Initiative' and 'Kainnat Welfare Association'. There are many projects that are being run in Kandhkot, such as Sindh Development Social Services Program (SDSSP), National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO, PPHI and Centre for Peace and Justice, Pakistan.
