What is "alo"

Ålo is a village in Søgne municipality, Norway. It is located with the sea and nearby Mandal municipality.

Alo (also known unofficially as Tu`a or the Kingdom of Futuna) is one of three official chiefdoms of the French territory of Wallis and Futuna (the other two being Uvea and Sigave) in Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean.

Alo ( English: Light) is a 2003 Bengali film directed by Tarun Majumder and starring Rituparna Sengupta. The story is based on a short story by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. It was shown in Bengal cinemas for eight months and broke several box office records.

The film was nominated for a National Award in the category "best film providing popular and wholesome entertainment".

Alo is the sixth episode of series 5 of the UK TV series Skins, which first aired on 3 March 2011 on E4. It focuses on Aloysius "Alo" Creevey (Will Merrick) as he deals with the consequences of refusing to grow up, and his efforts to stand up to his domineering mother and father.

ALO (Aristide Loria) is an Italian artist born in Ancona in 1981. He is a London based painter who decided to reproduce his indoor techniques on the outdoor walls. ALO started his career in London where he began painting on the walls and working with art galleries. After two group shows with the Stole Space Gallery in 2013, he had his first major solo show "Hail to the loser" at Saatchi Gallery in 2014, with which he started a continuous collaboration. ALO has painted also in Berlin and Paris. In 2016 he has been included in the Urban Art auction at Artcurial in Paris.
