EMAS

EMAS or Emas, is both a Malay and Indonesian word for gold. It may refer to:

EMAS (company)

EMAS is a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry and operating brand for Ezra Holdings. The business was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Singapore. It began in Asia Pacific in the maritime industry with an advanced, modern and highly capable fleet of vessels. The company quickly expanded, listing EMAS on the Singapore stock exchange in 2003 and adding a world-class fabrication facilities in Vietnam. Over the next few years, EMAS added its construction and production division, listed EOC Limited on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2007 and created an energy division, offering onshore and offshore drilling and well services. In 2011, EMAS embarked on a highly strategic acquisition of Aker Marine Contractors, a subsea construction and installation technology group.

EMAS was promoted to Mainboard on 8 December 2005.

Emas (Malaysian TV channel)

EMAS is a Malay-language retro channel from the Media Prima Berhad publication archives, which includes TV3, ntv7, 8TV, and TV9. This channel started on 1 June 2011 for the pay-TV provider HyppTV, and later on ABNxcess.

Sister channels, EMAS Style and EMAS Plus, were added on ABNxcess starting in July 2013. EMAS Style features Malay lifestyle programming while EMAS Plus features Malay dramas and telemovies.

This channel, however, has stopped its transmission on HyppTV on 1 August 2014 due to the low popularity of this channel. Meanwhile, EMAS and EMAS Plus on ABNxcess have also been removed from the channel line-up as of July 2014.
